Today, there are those who graduate from school but are unable to read or write to a level sufficient to pursue a profession or face life. It's a very big problem. It is not that there are subjects that cannot be learned; it is that there is no teaching how to learn. This step is lacking everywhere in education.

L. Ron Hubbard has bridged this gaping gap by providing the first and only technology (methods of application of an art or science) on how to study. He discovered the laws on which learning is based and developed useful methods that anyone can apply. He called this subject “study technology”.

This technology provides an understanding of the basics of the learning process and provides precise ways to avoid any pitfalls that may be encountered in studying.

Study technology is not like learning speed reading or tricks to remember things. They have not been shown to increase a person's ability to understand what he is studying or to raise a person's literacy to a higher level. Study technology shows how one should study to understand a subject in such a way that one can apply it.

In this booklet you will find only a small portion of the total study technology developed by Mr. Hubbard. Nevertheless, this brief overview contains basic information that you can use to study more effectively. With this technology, anyone is able to learn any subject.
